Cellulose Acetate membrane filters are hydrophilic and suitable for the filtration of both aqueous and alcoholic solutions. Cellulose Acetate has a low protein and enzyme binding capacity making it especially suited for this type of media. These membranes can also be used to filter hot gases up to 135oC.
