J-QUANT Active Oxygen test strips semi-quantitatively measure the active oxygen content of aqueous solutions. The term Active Oxygen actually refers to the level of a compound, potassium monopersulfate (MPS). It is currently widely used as a replacement for chlorine in swimming pool disinfection. It is especially well suited for indoor swimming pools where strong chlorine odours can cause irritation.
