J-QUANT Ascorbic acid test strips semi-quantitatively measure the ascorbic acid content of aqueous solutions up to 2000 mg/L (ppm). Ascorbic acid, more commonly known as Vitamin C, is an important water-soluble vitamin to humans for maintaining a healthy functioning immune system.
Most fruits and vegetables naturally contain ascorbic acid; however, it is also often supplemented into fruit juices and other foods as a preservative due to its antioxidant properties.
