J-QUANT Iodine test strips semi-quantitatively measure the iodine content of aqueous solutions up to 225 mg/L (ppm).
Iodine is used in the Iodophor range of sanitisers. These sanitisers are generally used in the brewing and dairy industries as well as for some medical applications. Iodine based sanitisers are effective across a wide range of pH’s but work best in acidic conditions. Optimal sanitising concentrations range from 100 to 200+ mg/L Iodine. These test strips can be used to check if these concentrations are being maintained.
