The J-QUANT Nickel test kit semi-quantitatively measures the nickel content of aqueous solutions up to 500 mg/L (ppm).
Nickel is primarily used in metal plating, where it is applied in baths. The nickel content of these baths must be controlled as well as the waste, as nickel is toxic and can cause allergic skin reactions.
