The J-QUANT Peracetic acid range semi-quantitatively measures the peracetic acid content of aqueous solutions up to 2000 mg/L (ppm).
Peracetic acid is used as a disinfectant, like free chlorine, hydrogen peroxide and QUAT. It finds use in medical settings during sterilisation processes and well as in the food industry.
Regulations state that the concentration of disinfection/sanitiser made of PAA must be monitored to ensure sufficient efficacy. The J-QUANT Peracetic acid 160, 500 and 2000 strips can fulfil this role.
Similar regulations also state that a minimal level of peracetic acid should be present on surfaces after the cleaning process. The J-QUANT Peracetic acid 50 can measure residual levels of Peracetic acid on surfaces to ensure compliance with all regulations.
