The J-QUANT Zinc test kit semi-quantitatively measures the zinc content of aqueous solutions up to 50 mg/L (ppm).
Zinc salts are used in electroplating baths to coat steel. This coating provides steel with anti-corrosion properties. These anti-corrosion properties also lead to zinc salts being added to cooling waters.
